When the Pivo in Cvetje festival arrives, Laško comes alive with flowers. Streets and squares are decorated with vibrant floral arrangements, creating a relaxed and lively summer atmosphere.

This year, we are very proud of our school and kindergarten. The pupils from Primož Trubar Primary School made beautiful flower decorations for Orožnov Square, the Savinja riverside, the bridge and the Municipality of Laško building. The children from Laško Kindergarten made the beautiful flower sky above the town street. Thank you to all the children and their teachers for making our town even more beautiful.

Beer – A Story Flowing Through Time. A journey through the history of brewing, from ancient Mesopotamia to modern craft approaches. Featuring historic bottles from Laško Brewery and a private collection by Igor Janžovnik (over 3600 bottles).

A traditional gathering dedicated to all locals – past and present. Sign the Book of Laško Residents and receive a special “Laščan” beer brewed for the occasion.

The exhibition Anton Aškerc and the Collectors of Laško offers visitors an insight into the rich legacy of one of Slovenia’s most important poets while also showcasing valuable collections and artefacts carefully preserved by collectors from Laško.

Visitors will be able to explore a variety of exhibits related to the life, work, and era of Anton Aškerc, alongside unique collector’s items that reflect the cultural and historical richness of the Laško region.
